We are pleased to start carrying FK BRNO pistols.  I personally owned the legendary Field Pistol (also available in The Scopesmith as a 72-hour Special Order). But the PSD combines the same proprietary recoil system and tuned trigger with a more reasonably priced pistol. It is also Optics Ready and has available low price conversions to 10mm / 40 S&W and also to 9mm. So, you should feel no fear of depending on a proprietary caliber. But is at FK 7.5 caliber that this gun shines. The FK 7.5 BRNO cartridge/pistol system is a compact magazine fed pistol that is accurate at longer ranges, similar to carbines and large caliber pistols. Although the 7.5 FK has the ballistic capability of a rifle ( 95-105 grain bullet at ~2,000 fps muzzle velocity) it is easy to control and engage targets at distance. Single action, tilting barrel, positive-lock mechanism pistol with a patented recoil attenuating system developed specifically to handle the potent and highly terminal 7.5 FK cartridge. Easy to handle with all hand sizes. Proprietary multi-caliber magazine (allows the use of three calibers: 7,5 FK, 10mm Auto and .40 S&W – the 9mm conversion includes 9mm magazines).

The RXM offers maximum flexibility and customization via a removable stainless steel Fire Control Insert (FCI) set inside an interchangeable Magpul Enhanced Handgun Grip (EHG). As part of their ongoing collaboration, Ruger and Magpul will be offering a variety of grip frames so that consumers can customize their pistol to meet shifting tastes and needs. The Magpul EHG offers consumers premium features, including Magpul’s 3/4-scale TSP texture, which provides a comfortable, secure grip. Other EHG features include: textured indexing pads for consistent finger/ thumb placement; a low-profile, flared magazine well for quick and easy magazine insertion; a trigger guard undercut and beaver tail that promote a high grip for better control; a magazine release scallop for easy access; and a universal-pattern accessory rail for use with a variety of lights and lasers.
