- Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger offers a crisp release with a pull weight that is user-adjustable between 3 and 5 pounds.
- Patented Power Bedding™ integral bedding block system positively locates the receiver and free-floats the barrel for outstanding accuracy.
- The one-piece bolt is CNC machined from stainless steel for smooth operation and the familiar three-lug design with 70° throw provides ample scope clearance.
- Oversized bolt handle for positive bolt manipulation, with a 5/16″-24 thread pattern for easy replacement.
- Available accessory stock weight kit adds up to 1.6 pounds to the butt of the rifle to absorb recoil and improve the rifle’s balance when utilizing heavier muzzle devices. Weight kit available on ShopRuger.com.

The Scopesmith favorite carry rifle now in 6.5 Creedmoor! The Steyr Scout provides the ideal solution for versatility, durability, accuracy and reliability in a compact and lightweight bolt-action rifle platform. Developed in collaboration with legendary Marine Corps Lt.Col. Jeff Cooper, the Scout boasts an extensive list of innovative features. With a fluted, and a cold-hammer-forged barrel measuring 19″ and, on this new version, threaded (1/2×20 with adapter to 5/8×24 provided) , the Scout is a breeze to pack out on long adventures. The compact design of the stock features an innovative integrated bipod legs with a UIT rail for attachments. The stock is outfitted with five press-and-twist sling-swivel attachment points. This rifle also features a black synthetic stock and it comes with two 5 rd magazines, with room in the buttstock to carry the additional magazine.Due to its short overall length of less than 39 inches and the low weight with approximately 6.6 pounds, the STEYR SCOUT is the perfect rifle to be utilized universally. If there was a saying “A man needs only one rifle”, then this rifle must be a STEYR SCOUT. Magazine fed, an additional five or an optional ten-cartridge-magazine, can be accommodated in the hollow well of the ergonomically shaped synthetic stock. This is not the only detail, which makes this lightweight rifle practical and universal. When necessary, the bipod, which is integrated in the stock’s forearm, can be unfolded. Thus, the shot will be precise even when no other support is available. It has integrated iron sight and full tactical rail that allows for both traditional scopes or forward mounted Scout scopes. – BLACK COLOR
