ED BROWN BEAVERTAIL

The Memory Groove Beavertail Grip Safety was designed by Ed Brown in 1980’s and has since been widely copied. More shooters specify the Ed Brown Beavertail than all others combined. Our grip safety is fully machined from stock for unbeatable quality. It gets your hand as deep into the gun as possible, which reduces felt recoil because it better aligns the centerline of the bore with the axis of your forearm. It also improves natural pointing ability, leading to better accuracy. The Memory Grooves cut into the raised pad on the rear for the perfect grip every time.

FULLY MACHINED AMBI SAFETY

Fully machined from barstock steel for unbeatable quality and no chance of warpage or porosity. Shaped for shooting comfort, the lever is angled slightly to keep the thumb from contacting the slide and has a double angle to fit the thumb perfectly. Uses a special hammer pin to hold the safety securely.

EDM TRIGGER COMPONENTS

Precision machined hammer and sear with wire EDM bearing surfaces to produce a crisp and smooth trigger every time you pull the trigger.

RELIABILITY PACKAGE

The reliability package includes our fully machined extractor that is fit and expertly tuned and precision barrel throating to eliminate feeding and extraction problems before they start. Our extractor design has been optimized based on over 50 years of experience in building, and operating, the 1911 handgun. This package is meticulously designed to enhance the performance and reliability.

FLATTENED & SERRATED TOP OF SLIDE

The top of the slide is flattened then serrated at 40 lines per inch, providing the eye with a natural line to the front sights, as well as a visually appealing cosmetic option.

RECESSED BARREL CROWN

Our recessed crown gives a deeper, recessed appearance.

DEHORN

The same skilled craftsmen that are finishing Ed Brown 1911’s, are gently and tastefully dehorning all sharp edges for a pistol that is extremely comfortable to handle and shoot.

BLACK GEN4 COATING

Gen4 our exclusive coating made up of a special formulation that offers the best wear resistance and corrosion protection known to date. Black in color, Gen4 is similar to that of finely finished bead blast bluing and specially formulated to look identical in color to traditional matte finished bluing.

The Fueled Prodigy Comp is equipped with an integral compensator with a single port on the top the slide and barrel to redirect gas upwards, reducing muzzle flip, enhancing control and allowing for more accurate follow-up shots”.
