The perfect trainer, it allows for low-cost practice and provides shooters with the familiar and preferred grip shape and feel of the famous 1911 45 caliber pistol. In addition to the identical grip angles, the Mark IV features the same fire control locations (manual safeties, magazine releases and bolt hold-opens) as the 1911, making them perfect for 45 caliber shooters looking for an affordable way to train. The Mark IV features a simple, one-button takedown for quick and easy field-stripping and proper chamber-to-muzzle cleaning. Cold hammer-forged barrel results in ultra-precise rifling that provides exceptional accuracy and longevity. Internal cylindrical bolt construction ensures permanent sight-to-barrel alignment and higher accuracy potential than conventional moving-slide designs. Contoured ejection port and easy-to-grasp bolt ears allow for durable and reliable operation round after round. Accurate sighting system features a drilled and tapped receiver for Weaver- or Picatinny-style rail for easy mounting of optics. Ambidextrous manual safety can be converted to left-side only with included washer. Features a conveniently located push-button magazine release on the left side of the frame. Pressing a button in the back of the frame allows the barrel-receiver assembly to tilt up and off the grip frame without the use of tools. This 22/45 Lite model features an aerospace-grade aluminum, ventilated receiver with a clear aluminum anodized finish. It also has a threaded 4.4″ barrel, black polymer grip frame, checkered 1911-style grip, and a fixed front sight with an adjustable rear. Now includes a hard case!
