  • A modern German Mauser in left hand configuration and 416 Remington Magnum caliber.
  • Left side. Paired with a Schmidt and Bender 1.1-4 Zenith, this rifle was intended to be the backup gun to a doubled-barreled Rigby 470 Nitro. At the end, it did all the shooting.
  • This couple of Germans mean business. The scope was installed using Mauser’s proprietary detachable bases.

  • It only took 9 shots for this customer to make a sub-MOA bullseye group with the new Kimber Advanced Tactical SOC 308 paired with the new Schmidt & Bender 3-20x50 SHORT (gun can be seen in the tactical tab of the gallery).
  • This customer started this bragging wall with an impressive group after rigging his Remington 308 with a Nightforce Benchrest 12-42 scope. The rifle can be seen in picture #24 of the tactical gallery.
  • Taking reloading to the next level start with a solid bench. This customer is using the sturdy Gladiator system and using clamps until deciding the best location to bolt the equipment.
  • This other customer had this beautiful and functional reloading bench built to his specifications. I see many hours of quality reloading work being done there and rewarded with results on the field.

  • Impressive group (0.264 inches - 4 shots at 100 yds.) made with another Remington 308 with a Nightforce 12-42 Benchrest scope. This rifle can be seen in picture number 48 of our Hunting and Target gallery.
  • Impressive 300 Winchester Magnum group a 100 yards with a Remington 700. Load data is there!
  • A 200 yard 3-shot group with a Savage 338 Lapua. As usual the flyer was the third shot!
  • This client shot his first Elk at 300 yds. using a Sako Tecomate in 300 WSM and a Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44 scope with the ballistic turret. He adjusted the turret to 300 yds. and achieved a great shoulder shot, right at the point of aim.
  • This unbelievable 0.42 inches at 200 yards bullseye group was achieved with a Barrett 98B in 338 Lapua with a Nightforce 8-32x56 ZeroStop MOAR scope. The bullets were the customer's reloads. Don't get me wrong, he deserves all the credit, but he bought the rifle, scope and reloading equipment at The Scopesmith. :)
  • A face only his mother can love!
  • Great 5-shot group with a Tikka T3 Varmint in 22-250 and a Leupold VX-3 6.5-20x50 Varmint Hunters. Ammo was the 50 grain Hornady VMAX.
  • One of our customers bought a Sako TRG-22 in 308 with a Schmidt and Bender 5-25x56 P4F and took it to a Long Range Shooting Course with J. Ruby south of Dallas. This is what he has to say after hitting repeatedly a 1,000 yards target: "Attached is a view of the range from my POV. The 1,000 yard targets at the base of the berm just over the parallax knob on the left side of the scope. The dark speck below the berm is a body target at 500. If these pics don't make someone else buy a Sako...nothing will. This is not bench rested or shot off of a sled, it is prone with the bipod!! Marc C."
  • This golf ball was shot at 750 yards during one of our customer's Long Range Shooting Course with J. Ruby south of Dallas (North Texas Rifle Precision Range). The rifle is the Sako TRG-22 of picture #63 of our tactical gallery.
  • We were able to help in a customer's dream becoming true thanks to his courage and the unbelievable clarity and intense illumination of the Swarovski Z6i scopes. Here is his story: "I am sending you a picture of the 9 pointer that I shot on Nov 16, 2012 at my ranch in Fayette County. I know a 9 pointer is not a trophy deer, but it's a great accomplishment for me because I'm legally blind. It's my first deer and probably my last since my vision is getting worse as the years go by. I shot the deer with my left side because I'm totally blind on my right eye, which is also a disadvantage for me. I've always wanted to shoot me a deer, but hesitated because of my vision problem. Now, I'm glad I finally got the courage to try it out....it paid off! I did the impossible! Benny V."
  • Deer and pig shot by one of our customers with his Blaser R8 308 and Swarovski Z3 purchased in the store.
  • A customer hunting alligators in Florida with a Steyr Scout combined with a Schmidt and Bender 4-16x42 P4F.
  • He was able to bag this 13.5 ft. alligator with a single 308 shot of the Steyr. Eyes on the alligator please!
  • Testing the new Swarovski X5i long range scopes in the dealers event carried out by Swarovski Optics in the wonderful facilities of the FTW ranch.
